Uniswap (UNI) price analysis — daily chart

Uniswap (UNI) is at 7.161 on the 1D chart. UNI is in a pullback inside an uptrend. The structure is still up: higher highs and higher lows, and the last higher low at 6.255 is intact — while it holds, the pullback is a pullback inside the trend.

Uptrend, at support — inverted gap capping price

Where UNI is

A pullback inside an uptrend.

UNI is in a pullback inside an uptrend. The structure is still up: higher highs and higher lows, and the last higher low at 6.255 is intact — while it holds, the pullback is a pullback inside the trend.

The weekly picture: a weekly uptrend, 84% under the all-time high; on the daily, price is above the 200-day (4.735), and the 50-day is above the 200-day. The daily trend runs with the weekly.

Price is testing a fair-value gap at 6.791–7.636 from the other side. The gap was left by a rally, then price closed straight through it — an inversion: the gap is now above price instead of below it. A close back above 7.636 means the inversion failed. It does not stand alone: the 50 EMA sits at the same price.

UNI rose 16% to 10.199 on the daily chart, then gave it all back, dropping 39% to 6.255, and has since won back a little of that pullback. It is now pinned in a tight 7.015–7.338 band. The 7.338 ceiling has turned price back 4 times, counting all 2 timeframes.

The daily structure is a clean uptrend — higher highs and higher lows; it is a late leg of a mature trend, not an early one. The last higher low is 6.255 — the uptrend holds while price stays above it. A head & shoulders is complete on the chart, pointing to 2.512; it is cancelled on a move above 11.076. Price is testing its 50-period average at 7.216.

Head and shoulders — neckline broken at 11.08. . What confirms it: the neckline break holding. A close above 11.08 cancels it.

Who's behind the move

Buyers lean ahead, not decisively.

Nothing in the pullback says the buying has changed character. Price is above the average price paid since the swing low (anchored VWAP 5.960), so the buyers since that low are in profit. Volume flow backs it — more volume has traded on up candles than down (CMF +0.12). MACD is above its signal line, so the latest swing has upward momentum of its own.

What doesn't fit: Hidden bearish divergence on OBV: the bounce lifted momentum past its last high without lifting price there — effort without result. ADX is 30, a real trend, with sellers ahead (+DI 13, −DI 22). Everyone who bought since the last top is still losing (average since the swing high 8.083). Together, that is why price is pulling back instead of rising.

The rest of the chart points the same way. Price is above the 200 EMA, with the 20 EMA above the 50. RSI is 49, neutral — neither side's closes dominate. Volatility is coiled — a TTM squeeze (Bollinger Bands inside the Keltner Channels) has run 8 candles, with momentum inside it pointing up.

Volume is 1.5× normal.

A high-volume price that price has not revisited (a naked POC) sits below at 3.80; value is migrating up (+41.8%) — the prices where most volume trades are moving higher; price is spending time inside value — the market is accepting these prices.

The levels on the chart

7.015 below and 7.338 above decide it.

7.015 is the floor, and it is contested: it held 3 of 6 visits. It is also the monthly open.

7.338 is the ceiling, but it has given way about as often as it held — 1 of 5 visits. It is also the 20 EMA and the weekly open.

The long-term lines: the 200-day average at 4.735 (−33.9%), the 50-day average at 7.893 (+10.2%), the yearly open at 5.640 (−21.2%), the quarterly open at 8.880 (+24.0%) and last year's range 2.274–15.65.

7.271, a 0.618 retracement 1.5% above price: it gave way on 4 of 6 visits; it lines up with the 20 EMA.

7.216, a resistance 0.8% above price: it gave way on 4 of 6 visits, on 1.5× the usual volume; it lines up with the 20 EMA.

7.114, an order block 0.7% below price: it gave way on 4 of 6 visits, on 1.5× the usual volume; it lines up with the 20 EMA.

The last swing high at 7.525, not yet taken — the kind of spot where stop orders usually sit just above.

The last swing low at 6.255, not yet taken — stops sit just below.

7.02 is the level on the most timeframes — 2 timeframes (4H/1H), 2 touches; resting liquidity and the 0.618 golden pocket sit at the same price.

Measured on the last drop from 10.94 to 6.255, price has given back 19% of it — a shallow bounce. The golden pocket, 9.153–9.303, is where the 0.618 retracement of that drop sits. Its extensions mark 4.980 (1.272) and 3.357 (1.618) below.

7.484 is where two separate tools meet: the 0.236 Fibonacci level of the last swing and a resistance.

4.976–5.231 is a fresh demand zone: price fell into it, paused, then rallied hard (2.2 average candles in one move); price has not been back since.

8.954–9.326 is a fresh supply zone: price rallied into it, paused, then dropped hard (2.1 average candles in one move); price has not been back since.

The nearest round numbers: 8.000 above and 7.000 below.

Pattern on the chart: head & shoulders (confirmed), measured move 2.512, fails past 11.08.

What to watch

A 1D close past 7.338 or 7.015 changes the picture.

Uptrend — higher highs and higher lows, the averages not yet lined up behind it; it holds while price stays above 6.255.

A 1D close above 7.338 clears the ceiling inside an uptrend — a new high in the trend's direction; no tested level above it on this chart.

A 1D close below 7.015 breaks the box's floor, though the uptrend's last higher low still sits below; no tested level below it on this chart.

How to use it

Watch for this: a 1D close back above 7.636 means the inversion failed.

The common misread: reading moves in the middle of the box as signals — the read only changes at 7.015 or 7.338.

Since the last read: still in an uptrend, unchanged since earlier today.
