Cardano (ADA) price analysis — daily chart

Cardano (ADA) is at 0.1903 on the 1D chart. ADA is in a downtrend that is still pressing lower. The structure is still down: lower highs and lower lows, and the last lower high at 0.2595 has not been taken back.

Downtrend, bouncing — inverted gap capping price

Where ADA is

A downtrend still pressing lower.

ADA is in a downtrend that is still pressing lower. The structure is still down: lower highs and lower lows, and the last lower high at 0.2595 has not been taken back.

The weekly picture: a weekly downtrend, 94% under the all-time high; on the daily, price is below the 200-day (0.2093), and the 50-day is above the 200-day. The daily trend runs with the weekly.

Price is testing a fair-value gap at 0.1924–0.1986 from the other side. The gap was left by a rally, then price closed straight through it — an inversion: the gap is now above price instead of below it. A close back above 0.1986 means the inversion failed.

ADA rose 16% to 0.2595 on the daily chart, then gave it all back, dropping 30% to 0.1822. It is now trading in a 0.1712–0.2007 box. The 0.2007 ceiling has turned price back 3 times, counting all 2 timeframes.

The daily structure is a downtrend — lower highs and lower lows, and price broke the 0.2238 swing low 2 weeks ago and has stayed under it. The drop has not bounced enough to set a new lower high — the last one is far above, at 0.2595. An imbalance (fair value gap) sits below at 0.1770–0.1818 — a stretch price ran through one way, with little trade back and forth.

Bounce in a downtrend.

Who's behind the move

The rest of the chart backs the downtrend. ADX is 30, a real trend, with sellers ahead (+DI 12, −DI 30). Price is under the average price paid since the swing low (anchored VWAP 0.2043), so the buyers since that low are under water. Price is under every average that matters: the Ichimoku cloud and the 200 EMA (the 20 under the 50).

What doesn't fit: Volume flow backs it — more volume has traded on up candles than down (CMF +0.12). These are the cracks in an otherwise intact downtrend.

The rest of the chart points the same way. RSI is 33: sellers have had the stronger closes. MACD is below its signal line, so the latest swing has downward momentum of its own. Everyone who bought since the last top is still losing (average since the swing high 0.2630).

A high-volume price that price has not revisited (a naked POC) sits above at 0.2482; value is migrating up (+9.7%) — the prices where most volume trades are moving higher; price is spending time inside value — the market is accepting these prices.

The levels on the chart

0.1712 below and 0.2007 above decide it.

0.1712 is the floor, and it is contested: it held 5 of 10 visits, on 2.8× the usual volume. It is also the 0.786 retracement of the chart's whole range.

0.2007 is the ceiling; price has not tested it on this chart yet.

0.1975, a fib retracement 3.8% above price: sellers turned price there on 6 of 8 visits, on 2.3× the usual volume.

0.1945, the prior day high 2.2% above price: sellers turned price there on 4 of 7 visits, on 2.5× the usual volume; it lines up with the 0.618 of the chart's whole range.

The long-term lines: the 200-day average at 0.2093 (+10.0%), the 50-day average at 0.2286 (+20.2%), the yearly open at 0.3336 (+75.3%), the quarterly open at 0.2467 (+29.6%) and last year's range 0.2742–1.175.

0.1933, a 0.618 retracement 1.6% above price: it gave way on 4 of 7 visits, on 2.5× the usual volume; it lines up with the 0.618 of the chart's whole range.

The last swing high at 0.2099, not yet taken — the kind of spot where stop orders usually sit just above.

The last swing low at 0.1712, not yet taken — stops sit just below.

0.2086 is the level on the most timeframes — 2 timeframes (4H/1H), 5 touches; resting liquidity sits at the same price.

Measured on the running drop from 0.2595 to 0.1822, price has given back 10% of it — a shallow bounce. The golden pocket, 0.2300–0.2324, is where the 0.618 retracement of that drop sits. Its extensions mark 0.1612 (1.272) and 0.1344 (1.618) below.

0.2220 is where two separate tools meet: the 0.5 Fibonacci level of the last swing and a resistance.

0.1726–0.1803 is a fresh demand zone: price fell into it, paused, then rallied hard (2.1 average candles in one move); price has not been back since.

The nearest round numbers: 0.2000 above and 0.1500 below.

A 3-touch support trendline broke and was retested — the line is now near 0.2169.

What to watch

A 1D close past 0.2007 or 0.1712 changes the picture.

Downtrend — lower highs and lower lows; it holds while price stays under 0.2595.

A 1D close above 0.2007 breaks the box's ceiling, though the downtrend's last lower high still sits above; no tested level above it on this chart.

A 1D close below 0.1712 loses the floor inside a downtrend — a new low in the trend's direction; no tested level below it on this chart.

How to use it

Watch for this: a 1D close back above 0.1986 means the inversion failed.

The common misread: reading a bounce into an intact downtrend as a turn before 0.2007 breaks — or a push into 0.1712 as a break before it gives way.

Since the last read: still in a downtrend, unchanged since earlier today, defending the 0.1899 support.
