Bittensor (TAO) price analysis — daily chart

Bittensor (TAO) is at 230.2 on the 1D chart. TAO is in a downtrend that is still pressing lower. The structure is still down: lower highs and lower lows, and the last lower high at 302.0 has not been taken back.

Downtrend, at support — selling climax at 220.2

Where TAO is

A downtrend still pressing lower.

TAO is in a downtrend that is still pressing lower. The structure is still down: lower highs and lower lows, and the last lower high at 302.0 has not been taken back.

The weekly picture: a weekly downtrend, 69% under the cycle high. The daily trend runs with the weekly.

A selling climax printed 2 candles ago: volume ran 2.9× its average and the candle left a long lower wick to 220.2 — sellers emptied out and buyers absorbed it. A close back under 220.2 would put price past the climax's extreme. It does not stand alone: the launch VWAP and resting stops sit at the same price.

TAO rose 19% to 302.0 on the daily chart, then gave it all back, dropping 27% to 220.2. It is now pinned in a tight 229.3–239.3 band, pressing on the floor.

The daily structure is a downtrend — lower highs and lower lows, and price broke the 254.4 swing low 8 days ago and has stayed under it. The drop has not bounced enough to set a new lower high — the last one is far above, at 302.0. An imbalance (fair value gap) sits below at 209.9–214.3 — a stretch price ran through one way, with little trade back and forth.

Who's behind the move

The rest of the chart backs the downtrend. ADX is 29, a real trend, with sellers ahead (+DI 11, −DI 31). Price is under the average price paid since the swing low (anchored VWAP 262.1), so the buyers since that low are under water. RSI is 35: sellers have had the stronger closes.

What doesn't fit: Volume flow backs it — more volume has traded on up candles than down (CMF +0.09). These are the cracks in an otherwise intact downtrend.

The rest of the chart points the same way. MACD is below its signal line, so the latest swing has downward momentum of its own. Everyone who bought since the last top is still losing (average since the swing high 281.6). Price is under the Ichimoku cloud, and the cloud ahead is bearish. Price sits at the bottom edge of its 100-candle regression channel — as far from its own average path as it gets.

Volume is 0.6× normal; volume is fading — fewer traders are taking part.

A high-volume price that price has not revisited (a naked POC) sits above at 270.47; value is migrating down (-20.5%) — the prices where most volume trades are moving lower; price is moving through value quickly — the market is not accepting these prices.

The levels on the chart

239.3 is the line it has to clear.

239.3 is the ceiling; price has not tested it on this chart yet.

236.9, the monthly open 2.9% above price: it gave way on 2 of 3 visits; it lines up with the weekly open.

The long-term lines: the 50-day average at 273.8 (+18.9%), the yearly open at 203.5 (−11.6%), the quarterly open at 301.0 (+30.7%) and last year's range 134.0–589.0.

233.8, the weekly open 1.5% above price: it gave way on 2 of 3 visits.

231.3, an order block 0.5% above price: it gave way on 2 of 3 visits; it lines up with the weekly open.

The last swing high at 262.5, not yet taken — the kind of spot where stop orders usually sit just above.

3 equal lows at 214.6, not yet taken — stops sit just below.

260.6 is the level on the most timeframes — 3 timeframes (1D/4H/1H), 1 touch; resting liquidity sits at the same price.

Measured on the running drop from 302.0 to 220.2, price has given back 12% of it — a shallow bounce. The golden pocket, 270.7–273.4, is where the 0.618 retracement of that drop sits. Its extensions mark 197.9 (1.272) and 169.6 (1.618) below.

254.4 is where two separate tools meet: the 0.382 Fibonacci level of the last swing and a resistance.

213.5–222.2 is a demand zone: price fell into it, paused, then rallied hard (3.2 average candles in one move); it has been tested 1× since.

305.8–309.1 is a fresh supply zone: price rallied into it, paused, then dropped hard (2.4 average candles in one move); price has not been back since.

The nearest round numbers: 250.0 above and 200.0 below.

What to watch

A 1D close past 239.3 or 229.3 changes the picture.

Downtrend — lower highs and lower lows; it holds while price stays under 302.0.

A 1D close above 239.3 breaks the box's ceiling, though the downtrend's last lower high still sits above; no tested level above it on this chart.

A 1D close below 229.2 loses the floor inside a downtrend — a new low in the trend's direction; no tested level below it on this chart.

How to use it

Watch for this: a 1D close back under 220.2 would put price past the climax's extreme.

Since the last read: still in a downtrend, unchanged since earlier today.
