Breakdown, retesting — 200 EMA lost
A breakdown being tested.
TRX is in a breakdown that is now being tested, against a weekly uptrend. Price closed below the range it had been held in; the old floor is the line it is being tested on.
The weekly picture: between a bear and a bull phase, 30% under the all-time high; on the daily, price is below the 200-day (0.3338), and the 50-day is above the 200-day. The daily has no trend of its own.
Price lost the 200 EMA (0.3266) one candle ago, after 163 candles above it. The 200 is the long-term line most traders draw: below it the long-term picture turns defensive, and the first retest of it from below is where that is proved. A close back above 0.3266 means it did not hold. It does not stand alone: the 0.382 fib of the last swing sits at the same price.
TRX just closed below the 0.3226–0.3468 range it had been in on the daily chart. It rose 21% to 0.3759, then dropped 20%, all the way back to 0.3001, taking out the 0.3106 low on the way.
The 0.3226 floor it just lost is now the first ceiling — a rally back into it that fails confirms the break; a close back above it makes this a false break. An imbalance (fair value gap) sits above at 0.3157–0.3349 — a stretch price ran through one way, with little trade back and forth. There is no strong trend in force — the edges matter more than the direction.
The breakdown has backing. Hidden bearish divergence on MACD: the bounce lifted momentum past its last high without lifting price there — effort without result. Price is under the average price paid since the swing low (anchored VWAP 0.3236), so the buyers since that low are under water. Volume flow backs it — more volume has traded on down candles than up (CMF -0.19).
What doesn't fit: The trend is weak — ADX 16, under the 25 where a trend is real, with buyers only slightly ahead (−DI 25, +DI 26). These are the weak spots in the breakdown.
The rest of the chart points the same way. Price is under every average that matters: the Ichimoku cloud and the 200 EMA (the 20 under the 50). MACD is below its signal line, so the latest swing has downward momentum of its own. Everyone who bought since the last top is still losing (average since the swing high 0.3313). RSI is 41, neutral — neither side's closes dominate.
The squeeze released 1 candle ago, down — volatility is expanding again.
Volume is 7.9× normal — unusually heavy; impulsive buying volume.
Value is migrating down (-2.0%) — the prices where most volume trades are moving lower; price is spending time inside value — the market is accepting these prices.
0.3313 is the line it has to clear.
0.3313 is the ceiling; price has not tested it on this chart yet.
0.3287, the volume POC 4.7% above price: sellers turned price there on 12 of 15 visits, on 2.5× the usual volume; it lines up with the 0.382 retracement of the chart's whole range.
0.3252, a fib retracement 3.6% above price: sellers turned price there on 9 of 13 visits, on 2.3× the usual volume; it lines up with the anchored VWAP from the swing low.
The long-term lines: the 200-day average at 0.3338 (+6.4%), the 50-day average at 0.3339 (+6.4%), the yearly open at 0.2846 (−9.3%), the quarterly open at 0.3375 (+7.5%) and last year's range 0.2000–0.3703.
0.3157, the prior day high (not retested) 0.6% above price: sellers turned price there on 6 of 7 visits; it lines up with the 0.236 retracement of the chart's whole range.
The last swing high at 0.3759, not yet taken — the kind of spot where stop orders usually sit just above.
2 equal lows at 0.2775, not yet taken — stops sit just below.
0.3313 is the level on the most timeframes — 3 timeframes (1D/4H/1H), 9 touches.
Measured on the running drop from 0.3759 to 0.3001, price has given back 18% of it — a shallow bounce. The golden pocket, 0.3469–0.3493, is where the 0.618 retracement of that drop sits. Its extensions mark 0.2794 (1.272) and 0.2532 (1.618) below.
Measured against the impulse before it (0.3106 → 0.3759), this pullback has retraced 95%; that leg's golden pocket is 0.3335–0.3355.
0.2775 is where two separate tools meet: the 1.272 Fibonacci level of the last swing and a support.
0.3295–0.3326 is a fresh supply zone: price rallied into it, paused, then dropped hard (2.3 average candles in one move); price has not been back since.
A bearish breaker block at 0.3294–0.3313: an old order block that price has since broken through.
The nearest round numbers: 0.3500 above and 0.3000 below.
Rectangle — price has broken up out of it, measured move 0.3801.
A 5-touch resistance trendline broke, failed and price is back on the old side — the line is now near 0.3295.
Pattern on the chart: inside bar (printed).
A 1D close past 0.3303 or 0.3132 changes the picture.
Breakdown — closed below a 120-candle range; it holds while price stays under 0.3226.
A 1D close above 0.3303 puts price back inside the range it broke down from; no tested level above it on this chart.
A 1D close below 0.3132 loses the floor inside a downtrend — a new low in the trend's direction; no tested level below it on this chart.
Watch for this: a 1D close back above 0.3266 means it did not hold.
Since the last read: still in a downtrend, unchanged since yesterday, defending the 0.3115 support.
