XRP (XRP) price analysis — daily chart

XRP (XRP) is at 1.248 on the 1D chart. XRP is in a downtrend that is still pressing lower. The structure is still down: lower highs and lower lows, and the last lower high at 1.399 has not been taken back.

Downtrend, bouncing — selling climax at 1.200

Where XRP is

A downtrend still pressing lower.

XRP is in a downtrend that is still pressing lower. The structure is still down: lower highs and lower lows, and the last lower high at 1.399 has not been taken back.

The weekly picture: a weekly downtrend, 66% under the all-time high; on the daily, price is below the 200-day (1.277), and the 50-day is above the 200-day. The daily trend runs with the weekly.

A selling climax printed 2 candles ago: volume ran 4.1× its average and the candle left a long lower wick to 1.200 — sellers emptied out and buyers absorbed it. A close back under 1.200 would put price past the climax's extreme.

XRP rose 11% to 1.399 on the daily chart, then gave it all back, dropping 14% to 1.200, and has since won back about a third of that pullback. It is now pinned in a tight 1.200–1.253 band, pressing on the ceiling.

The daily structure is a downtrend — lower highs and lower lows, and price broke the 1.256 swing low 3 days ago and has stayed under it. The last lower high is 1.399 — the downtrend holds while price stays under it. Price is just below the 0.618 retracement of the last up-move, at 1.259 — the pullback has already gone through it.

Bounce into resistance in a downtrend at 1.252. It confirms if price stays below 1.252. A close above 1.282 cancels it.

Breakdown and retest at 1.256. It confirms if price stays below 1.256. A close above 1.286 cancels it.

Who's behind the move

The rest of the chart backs the downtrend. Price is under the average price paid since the swing low (anchored VWAP 1.403), so the buyers since that low are under water. Price is under every average that matters: the Ichimoku cloud and the 200 EMA (the 20 under the 50). RSI is 37: sellers have had the stronger closes.

What doesn't fit: The trend is weak — ADX 20, under the 25 where a trend is real, with sellers only slightly ahead (−DI 28, +DI 16). Hidden bullish divergence on RSI: the dip pushed momentum below its last low without taking price there — the dip found no real selling. Volume flow backs it — more volume has traded on up candles than down (CMF +0.12). These are the cracks in an otherwise intact downtrend.

The rest of the chart points the same way. MACD is below its signal line, so the latest swing has downward momentum of its own. Everyone who bought since the last top is still losing (average since the swing high 1.489). Volatility is coiled — a TTM squeeze (Bollinger Bands inside the Keltner Channels) has run 4 candles, with momentum inside it pointing down.

A high-volume price that price has not revisited (a naked POC) sits below at 1.07; and another above at 1.40; value is migrating up (+3.8%) — the prices where most volume trades are moving higher; price is spending time inside value — the market is accepting these prices.

An open fair-value gap sits at 1.272–1.308, left by a drop.

The levels on the chart

1.200 is the line it stands on.

1.200 is where buyers keep showing up: it held 4 of 6 visits, and the turns there ran 11.8% within 5 candles. It is also the prior week low.

1.272, a fib retracement 2.0% above price: sellers turned price there on 9 of 11 visits; it lines up with the 0.618 of the chart's whole range.

1.259, a 0.618 retracement 0.9% above price: sellers turned price there on 7 of 9 visits; it lines up with the 0.618 of the chart's whole range.

The long-term lines: the 200-day average at 1.277 (+2.3%), the 50-day average at 1.391 (+11.5%), the yearly open at 1.842 (+47.6%), the quarterly open at 1.490 (+19.4%) and last year's range 1.218–3.662.

1.253, the 2-TF resistance 0.4% above price: sellers turned price there on 5 of 7 visits; it lines up with the 0.618 of the chart's whole range.

The last swing high at 1.344, not yet taken — the kind of spot where stop orders usually sit just above.

2 equal highs at 1.398, not yet taken — stops sit just above.

1.31 is the level on the most timeframes — 3 timeframes (1D/4H/1H), 3 touches; an order block and resting liquidity sit at the same price.

Measured on the running drop from 1.399 to 1.200, price has given back 24% of it — a shallow bounce. The golden pocket, 1.323–1.329, is where the 0.618 retracement of that drop sits. Its extensions mark 1.146 (1.272) and 1.077 (1.618) below.

0.9872 is where two separate tools meet: the 2 Fibonacci level of the last swing and a support.

0.9872–1.010 is a fresh demand zone: price fell into it, paused, then rallied hard (2.1 average candles in one move); price has not been back since.

1.497–1.524 is a fresh supply zone: price rallied into it, paused, then dropped hard (2.2 average candles in one move); price has not been back since.

The nearest round numbers: 1.250 above and 1.000 below.

What to watch

A 1D close past 1.259 or 1.200 changes the picture.

Downtrend — lower highs and lower lows; it holds while price stays under 1.399.

A 1D close above 1.259 breaks the box's ceiling, though the downtrend's last lower high still sits above; the next level up is 1.289.

A 1D close below 1.200 loses the floor inside a downtrend — a new low in the trend's direction; no tested level below it on this chart.

How to use it

Watch for this: a 1D close back under 1.200 would put price past the climax's extreme.

Since the last read: still in a downtrend, unchanged over the last 3 days.
